Exciting news for trials fans as the World Trials Championship returns to Nord Vue, Penrith, Cumbria at the end of July, for those that came in 2009 you will know how good this compact venue is, with all the sections just minutes from the start stage, work has already begun on the sections Graham Jarvis will pit his section building skills against the best trials riders in the world and with great spectator viewing you won’t miss the action of your favourite stars.

The ACU Trials & Enduro Committee held a meeting regarding the 2012 ACU Doodson British Solo Championship on Saturday 11th Feb.
There was representation present from the 2012 Organisers, Riders, Importers and Press.

KTM factory stars Knight and Aubert set to spice up sandy season opener, ensuring an explosive start to British Sprint Enduro Championship
The opening two rounds of the Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship, being held in Aldershot, Hampshire on February 11/12, will feature the strongest line-up of enduro racers seen in the UK since the British round of the World Enduro Championship in 2008. With both Husqvarna's Ricky Dietrich and KTM's Taddy Blazusiak already confirmed as joining Britain's best, event organisers GMC Events are now pleased to announce that both KTM Enduro Factory Team riders David Knight and Johnny Aubert will also compete.

The 2012 Luscombe Suzuki Leeds British Sidecar Championship kicks off on Saturday in the Isle of Man, Hosted by the Peveril MC & LCC Ltd. This will see last year’s winner and last year’s Champion will both be missing, so last year’s series runners up Rupert and Chris Kimber will start the event as favourites, but a strong local challenge may see the trophy staying on the Island.

On Saturday 28th January the ACU held the annual Awards Presentation at the Park Inn Hotel in Northampton. During the course of the day nearly 700 people attended to celebrate the achievements of both Youth and Adult riders from all disciplines of the ACU. The Youth Awards took place over the lunchtime and highlighted the hard work of the future stars from the sports of Trials, Motocross, Quads and Grass Track.

The Isle of Man Centre will be holding a number of Motocross and Trials Seminars. The Seminars will be taking place at Knock Froy on the Isle of Man on Wednesday 1st February and Sunday 5th February.

CH Racing Husqvarna’s new signing Ricky Dietrich will compete in the 2012 ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship. With the opening two rounds of the 2012 Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship rapidly approaching American off-road racer Ricky Dietrich has confirmed his participation in the series, which starts in Aldershot, Hampshire on February 11/12.

The first major enduro event of the New Year certainly lived up to expectations as the Husqvarna sponsored second round of Eddy’s Xtreme Enduro drew in massive crowds yet again at Tong near Bradford. Twelve months after the initial Eddy’s Xtreme event this awesome venue pulled in thousands of spectators, all eager to see the battle between Farioli KTM’s David Knight, KORR’s Jonny Walker and Flite Husaberg’s Graham Jarvis continue in their race to become the first official ACU British Extreme Enduro Champion. They were not disappointed.

Dougie Lampkins Last Stand - Podium?? Maybe!!!
The 2012 Sheffield Arena Trial will be taking place at the Motorpoint Arena on Saturday 7th January, although the best riders in the World will be competing at Sheffield the event will not be a round of the 2012 FIM World Championship.

The 2012 International Six Day Enduro (ISDE) will take place in Saxony Germany during the period 24-29 September. The ACU will be represented by Trophy and Junior teams.

The boys are back in town at Tong this Sunday January 8th, David Knight MBE, Championship leader Johnny Walker and X-treme Supremo Graham Jarvis are all confirmed for this weekends Eddy's X-treme Enduro, along with Sagar, Bolton, The Hemmingway Brothers and MX boys Jamie Law, Jamie Lewis and 2 stroke MX star Matt Moffat, the line up is more than impressive however, due to recent niggling injuries Dougie Lampkin has had to withdraw from round 2 of this years official ACU Extreme Championship.

Following the decision to simplify the classes in the 2012 Sammy Miller Products Championship, the Trials & Enduro Committee would like to announce that an award will be given to the best competitor on a Pre Unit Springer, Two Stroke and Unit Construction machine on both the Easy and Hard Routes at the end of the Series in addition to the 6 Class winners.
Similar awards will also be given to the Sidecar Championship.

Entries have officially opened for the 10-round 2012 Husqvarna ACU British Sprint Enduro Championship. Series organisers GMC Events have uploaded Regs and Entry Forms for all events to the series website – www.enduro-sprint.com - where they can be found under the ‘Entry Form’ tab. Riders wanting to secure their place in the championship are asked not to delay completing and returning their entry.

In 2012 RHL Activities will bring the madness that is beach racing to the unsuspecting city of Swansea.
The first ever RHL Beach Race at Swansea will take place over the weekend of 2-4 March 2012 on the beach and beachfront at Swansea Bay. More than 50,000 spectators are expected to descend on the event to see 1000 plus riders go head to head in the three-hour feature race on Sunday.
