The East Midland Centre is holding a Road Race Marshals Training Day at Darley Moor Motor Sports Centre DE6 2ET on Sunday 26th February with registration at 09.30 and the Training Day starting at 10.00. The day is open to all Road Race Marshals who have not attended a Training Day in the last three years and to all new Road Race Marshals.

A Seminar for ACU Off Road Registered Technical Officials, situated within the Eastern and South Eastern Centres will take place on Saturday 4th February 2012, commencing at 10.30am.

The venue will be Stanway Village Hall, Villa Road, Colchester, CO3 5RH, in the upstairs conference room.

A Seminar for Registered Technical Officials will take place on Saturday 11th February 2012 in the Conference Centre at the TT Grandstand, Glencrutchery Road, commencing at 9.30am.

The Seminar is open to officials who wish to renew their ACU licence and new applications who wish to apply for a licence for the fist time.

The Seminar will also demonstrate the FIM 2 Meter Max sound test method.

Bumpy go Green

Birstall Motor Cycle Activity Centre BUMPY Ltd, based at Birstall, are the first organisation in Yorkshire to adopt a green policy within their extensive training facilities. As part of their strategy of reducing their carbon footprint Bumpy Ltd are looking to the future by introducing to their fleet of training vehicles, both off road and on road, electric powered, by batteries. Initially two off road trials machines manufactured by Mecatecno have been purchased to complement the trials machines.
Motocross Challenge Project features in Dirt Bike Rider

Motocross Challenge Project(MXCP) in Dover recently featured in the Dirt Bike Rider Magazine covering the hard work that is had been done to promote the sport of Motocross to disadvantaged children in the Dover area. MXCP is the brain child of Richard and Charlotte Newton who set up the project as a non-profitable independent charity that gives young people of all ages and from all social backgrounds a chance to ride a Motocross bike and so much more. The project gives the children a real opportunity to have some direction in life and bringing a positive and public interest to our sport.
