This week’s ‘What’s on Weekly’ features more events from around the country. With nearly 50 events taking place over this weekend under the ACU banner, here is a selection of just a few.
On Sunday the Hillsborough Motor Cycle Club held the third round of the S3 Trials Championship. The Jack Woods Trial also had the added interest of the Owner of S3 Parts Michel Kaufmann attending the event and taking part in the meeting.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances the Mid Wales Centre's Welsh Trophy Trial, due to be held on 3rd April has had to be cancelled.
However South Birmingham MC have kindly offered to pick up the round, making their DK Mansell Trial a 2 day event with both days counting towards the Luscombe Suzuki Leeds British/ACU Sidecar Championship.
Following the terrible events that have affected Japan, the Japanese Federation decided to postpone the 3rd round of the 2011 SPEA FIM Trial World Championship to 20 - 21 August 2011.
Round 2 of this eight round ACU Events sponsored series get underway again with the Anthony Rew Trial down in Devon. The organising West of England MCC have been given an earlier date in the calendar this year and this gave them some discussions on where to run. After some deliberation it was decided to run once again at Kelly Farm, Lustleigh which is not far from Bovey Tracey.

Merthyr Motor Club held Round 2 of their Club Championship on Saturday 19th March at Glyn Mil Farm, Merthyr.

With the 2011 season now moving into March, the number of ACU events taking place across the country in every discipline is naturally increasing each week. With the opening rounds of the British Motocross Championship, British Enduro, British Sprint Enduro and the British Trials Championship having already taken place.
So the 2011 British Trials Championship is underway. The ACU Events Sponsored series has once again drawn additional support from TRC Trucks and Michelin and Round 1 was organised by Dirt Bike Action at Westwood near to Barnsley.
The Isle of Man Centre announces that entries for the Manx National Two Day Trial open on the 11th. March. The Trial which is scheduled for the 27th & 28th August 2011 is open to all adult solo and sidecar riders and if previous years are anything to go by entries will fill up fast. Entries for solos is restricted to 275 and sidecars to 50 outfits, they will close when full or the 2nd April 2011.
