FIA "The Main Event" 2010, Friday 28th to Monday 31st May at Santa Pod Raceway

The Main Event is the first round of the prestigious European Drag Racing Championship for cars and bikes and features the largest race entry and most packed Motorsport event anywhere in Europe! Over 200 teams, and 17 race classes make this event unrivalled for both the quality and quantity of racing.

If you've not experienced top-level drag racing before this is THE event to come to and witness the unique thunder of nitro engines and smell of burnt rubber!

Alongside the international racers is a full supporting line-up of race classes for cars and bikes competing in the British championships.

Thundersprint 2010

On Sunday May 9th the Cheshire town of Northwich becomes a Motorcycle haven to match any event in the UK as the Thundersprint revs off and the day before, the town centre becomes the biggest outdoor motorcycle show in the Uk.

The line up includes:

Knutsford Honda, one of Britain’s most dynamic motorcycle dealers, have become title sponsor of this year’s Thundersprint.

It is less than a year since Knutsford Honda opened their all new premises in the beautiful Cheshire countryside at High Legh, on the outskirts of Knutsford, and since then the dealership has gone from success to success.

Amongst the many stars to take part in this year's Thundersprint is BBC TV’s Star MotoGP Commentator Steve Parrish. 

Spitfire fans will have the chance to see this magnificent aircraft display in a unique setting right on the edge of Northwich, Cheshire, on Sunday May 9th. the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Spitfire will perform in one of the most evocative settings in the world.
