ROUND two of the British Trials Championships comes up this weekend a few weeks later than originally planned. It had to be postponed due to the FIM changing the Indoor World series dates.
However it is a trip up to Scotland that is on the cards this weekend for the Macdonald Trial held at Kinlochleven at The Mound right on the Loch side which provides one of the most spectacular backdrops to any sporting event.
Last year the organisers had a few problems with parking as the old school playground was no longer available due to re developments. This year however there should not be the same issues as facilities at the old site are available. All of the sections are just a few hundred yards away and within easy walking distance of parking. There will be three laps of 12 sections with three completely different routes for the Championship, Expert A and Expert B riders.
L+M Events, organisers of the UK leg of the 2010 SPEA FIM Trial World Championship to be held at Nevis Range, Fort William – Scotland over 25/26/27 June, are pleased to reveal that their plans for their summer event are very much on schedule despite the recent bout of wintry weather in the Scottish Highlands. Whilst the upper part of the mountain at Nevis Range remains under heavy snow, conditions on the rest of the course and in the paddock will be perfect when the most recent snow clears.
