The team to represent Northern Ireland in the inaugural ‘MotoSix, Six Nations Road Race Championship’, at Donington Park on Saturday/Sunday, March 28/29, has been announced by team manager Ivan Davidson. Former ACU Suzuki GSX-R600 Trophy racer Marcus Woodbine has signed up with Gearlink Kawasaki to run in the 2009 Junior Superstock Championship, proving that the Trophy does help develop new racing talent. The ACU Road Race, Drag and Sprint Committee has agreed to increase the machines available to 16-year old Novice licence holders and 15-year old National licence holders. Extending the machine options for young riders means they can now race the Ducati Monster 800cc 2-valve twin air cooled machines.
