All is now ready for a fabulous weekend of world-class motorcycle trials competition in the Isle of Man. THIS WEEKENDS MANCHESTER 17 TRIALS EVENTS ARE CANCELLED.
The organisers have taken the decision to cancel both the Dead Easy trial (22.09.07) and the Hipwell/Hartle Trophy Trial (23.09.07) due to the foot and mouth outbreaks and the overall need to confine the disease. Following talks with local landowners ,the organisers of the Inter Centre Pre 65 Trial today announced that in the light of the recent Foot & Mouth outbreak , to avoid the risk of further contamination their event would be postponed. Sutton Falcons MC's round of this series, due to be held on 9th September, had to be postponed and it was hoped that the event could be re-scheduled later in the year.Unfortunately this cannot be arranged and so the round has now been cancelled.....

The women’s teams will be headed by last year’s winners Great Britain, who rely on the same team: Maria Conway (Beta), Rebekah Cook (Gas Gas) and Donna Fox (Sherco) to face off Spain, whose trio is Maddalen Aizpurua, Carla Calderer and Laia Sanz, the latter at present leading the World Championship, having won the first round in the Czech Republic in July.

The Trials & Enduro Committee informs you that an omission was made in the Championship Regulations for the above Championship where the Girls A Class Intermediate Championship was omitted.This class is intended for the A Class Girls who feel that the Sections on Route 1 are too severe for their ability.The Girls A Class Intermediate Championship will be contested using the Route 2 Sections. The 2007 Regulations for the Sammy Miller series have been changed to define Classes 1 - 6 as being:
"All major components including frame, forks, hubs, engines and gearboxes to be a silhouette of the original British manufactured parts which were available before the date of eligibility for the class concerned. It is also stated that Carburettors for all classes 1 to 6 must be of British manufacture".
For the ACU Classic series, the same rules apply for Class A - HOWEVER....
